Transactency

Transactency helps individuals and companies execute simple legal contracts between two parties quickly and inexpensively. The platform allows affordable solutions for quick back and forth negotiating and simple explanations to understand legalese.

Challenge

The challenge was to create a simple contract negotiation experience that is easily understood between two parties who are novices to legalese.

Solution

After conducting interviews with all potential users of the platform to better understand the contract negotiation process, the team and I created user flows, personas, and journey maps. Wireframes were created and iterated from user feedback. I created style guide options and helped build a working prototype in Ruby on Rails.

I started by creating distinct user personas to provide customer perspectives, so that I could design features needed to meet their needs. Next I created a user flow to understand the journey of the customer.
